There's a wonderful, lovely thing about a whole week of vacation stretched ahead of you. This year my whole family (except my little bro, sorry Jake) and my Aunt Kim and her family ventured down to the Outer Banks in North Carolina. This was my first shore experience away from the Delaware Beach scene that we normally hit up each summer and the change was fun! We filled a big ol' beach house ontop of a hill that had gorgeous views of the Atlantic in front of us and the sound behind us. After the hectic move home, it was blissfully relaxing to have such a small amount of 'to-do's on the list for each day.
1. Don't forget sunscreen
2. Finish the next two chapters of Crichton novel
3. Play hide and seek with Gavin
5. Gin 'n Tonic
Sounds good, no?
Below are some images of my family from our week away. Most of them are from an evening we went down to the beach to take family photos of my sister's family. I love these people!
This is one of my favorites from the week. Gavin was just a head floating in a bed (Jake - possible creepy children's book idea?) .
There's a baby in there! Congratulations, Adrienne and Adam! I can't wait to be an aunt again this winter :)
Haha! I love outtakes! Brent is showing that pacifiers work just as well on adults as they do infants. :)
I hope you enjoyed the photos! If you'd like to share them, I ask that you please link back to this page.
I'm working on a bunch of photos this week, so stay tuned for some more blog posts, the next one will be a gorgeous lake wedding!
